So finally, I have finished my coursework! I am quite happy with how it went but if I had more time, I would take some new images for my magazine and change the layout of the magazine. Anyways, this will be my final blog post. Thanks for reading my blogs, hope you have enjoyed me stressing over this coursework.
Finally, here is my evaluation powerpoint that I used to present my evaluation to my teacher:

Final Cut Double Page Spread
Here is my final double page spread. Overall I am pretty pleased with how it turned out. The article is good and the picture really gives off the attitude that I want it to. The colour scheme fits really nice with Royalty as purple and yellow are seen as royal colours. The font for the headline looks quite royal which I like and I used the same font for the header "In the presence of..." as I used for my magazine title Rhythm.
Final Cut Contents
Here is my final contents page. I really like the layout and the colour scheme to it. The image isn't exactly how I wanted it to turn out but I'll live. It looks a bit messy at the top but that's because the bleed line is meant to cut off the top so the yellow background for the capital R is bigger than I want but just imagine that it's a little shorter length wise.
Final Cut Front Cover
Here is my final front cover. I think it is a huge improvement to my rough cut based on the image alone. I haven't changed much else from my rough cut other than the font and the little tag line underneath royalty. I also moved the 123 albums rated box to the top because it shows off more of Joe's outfit which makes him look the part.
Editing my front cover image
I chose to manipulate my front cover image because there was a lot of light on the sunglasses due to the flash from the studio lights. I used clone stamp to black out the reflection on the glasses to make it look more professional. The light on the glasses doesn't really look good as you can see here:
Photoshoot Locations - Double Page Spread
For my main double page spread image, I took it in my friends back yard. I liked this location because it had a industrial look to it with the garage door and the brick wall. I wanted to take my double page spread image on location because I think it shows that the indie band are just a bunch of normal people.
For the smaller image, I took it in my friends living room. I did originally have both band members in the shot but decided to crop it down just to show the lead guitarist for the Q&A.

Photoshoot Locations - Contents
The photo for my contents page was shot in my friends bedroom. I intended this because I wanted my contents artist to be a solo artist and I thought maybe it could be good to have something along the lines of "making the album in his bedroom" so I thought it would be appropriate to have the image taken in his bedroom, just him and his guitar.
